Sarah, Logan and Ginger all are October birthdays. We had all of them over to celebrate. Benson gave his Mommy (Sarah) the DVD "How to Train Your Dragon" for her birthday. They brought it to watch and Logan actually fixed the dinner for us. He is the grilled kabob master. Ginger brought the salad and since she doesn't care for cake, we had Oreo creme pie and Coconut creme pie. We are so grateful for our in-law children. We don't like to call them in-law, as far as we are concerned they are our children too.

Our Little Trick or Treaters, Halloween 2010
Halloween this year was a bit subdued. Rod's mom had surgery a couple of days before, so we kept things a little quieter. I made sure I had photos of my babies, though. Kathryn was a beautiful Southern Belle; Benson a "not scary, it's just pretend" skeleton; Regan, an adorable Forest Fairy; and Liam, the Angelic Lion. Stephen got into the spirit as a mountain man. They ALL made a haul, the bags were clear full!

OUR CHILDREN

Ian is our 3rd and final child. He was born in St. George, Utah on January 21, 1985. He was the easiest baby...something I was very grateful for. He slept through the night at 2 weeks old and would sometimes fall asleep at the dinner table. Ian has always had a way of making you smile. He is a talented artist and photographer and was on the yearbook commitee in high school. One of his accomplishments that Mom thinks is wonderful is that he went to the state competition in Business Professionals of America (BPA) and took 1st or 2nd 4 years running. His competition was Computer Aided Graphic Design and he went to Nationals 3 times. Ian started school in Ririe but decided he would have more Art opportunities in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High Scool. He loves to travel...he is our free spirit. He has been to Alaska, Thailand, Honduras, Costa Rica and England. Right now he is in Alaska working on a fishing boat, gillnetting for salmon (at least I think that what it is called).

OUR CHILDREN

Sarah is our 2nd child. She was born October 15th, 1982. She was and is the most beautiful daughter any parent could wish for. She was (and sometimes still is) the resident drama queen. She would be crying hysterically and in a blink of an eye be laughing. Her Aunt Lyndi loved carrying her around and called her her "sack of spuds". Sarah took a modeling course in Jr. High and did very well. She was no longer our shy little girl. She really blossomed. When she was 16 she started working at the Smokehouse in Rigby. There she met her future husband, Logan Cutts. After she graduated from Madison High School, she went to EITC and became a certified Phlebotomist (that is the person who takes blood in the lab). After Logan returned home from his mission to Florida, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple. They have been blessed with a son, Benson. He is Sarah's full time job and boy, does he keep her on her toes.
OUR CHILDREN
Stephen is our oldest child. He was born January 13, 1981. Stephen had many friends in school and even had a 'band'. His band played at Mr. RHS. They were actually pretty good. He graduated from Ririe High School and served a mission to the California Los Angeles Mission and has since married Ginger Rose Lewis (from Langley, Washington) in the Salt Lake Temple. Funny story...I (Mom) set him up with Ginger. I did very well, I must say. She is a wonderful scratch cook and appreciates Stephen's sense of humor. They have been blessed with 2 beautiful redhaired little girls and one (?) on the way. We are hoping for a boy. Ginger is due in November. Stephen likes motorcycles, computer animation, reading (especially Hugh Nibley), geology, playing guitar, giving his mom a hard time (he is the world's biggest practical joker!), but mostly he loves being a husband and a father. He's a pretty good dad...we enjoy watching him interact with his little girls.
